Don is a particle physicist who is interested in the interactions between the fundamental constituents of matter and energy. His previous research includes Beyond-Standard Model physics such as the Strong CP problem, composite Higgs models, and Higgs decays at the Large Hadron Collider. He is currently investigating phase transitions in conformal field theories utilizing the AdS/CFT correspondence. Don obtained his B.S. in physics and B.A. in philosophy at SUNY New Paltz before completing his PhD at Syracuse University. He held a visiting position at Hamilton College before coming to Skidmore in 2016.
