Presidential Search Update

March 19, 2019

Dear Members of the Skidmore Community:

As Board Chair Scott McGraw wrote in his message on March 5, we have been appointed to serve as co-chairs of the newly formed Presidential Search Committee (PSC), and we are delighted and honored to coordinate the search process.

During the past two weeks, faculty, staff and student leaders reviewed nominations and identified members of their respective constituencies who are willing to serve on the PSC. While individuals were selected to serve based on their individual constituencies, all members will now come together as one committee in this important service to the Board of Trustees. We are very grateful to all who participated in this process.

We are pleased to announce the members of the committee:

  • Jon Achenbaum '77, Trustee (Co-chair)
  • Maxine Isaacs '69, Trustee (Co-chair)
  • Susan Gottlieb Beckerman '67, Trustee
  • Barbara Black, Faculty
