Apartment Party Workshop
As of the fall 2018 semester, the Office of Residential Life, in cooperation with the Alcohol and Other Drug Taskforce, has implemented Apartment Party Workshops. In order to host a party in an on-campus apartment, two residents who reside in the apartment must attend this workshop in order to become trained social hosts.
During this training, students will receive information about policies and expectations related to on-campus apartment parties. Additionally, students will receive information related to alcohol safety, and resources available on campus.
This training will be offered 3:30-4:30pm on Friday, February 1st, 2019 in the Emerson Auditorium. Attendance will be limited to the first 60 people to register. Apartment residents will receive an e-mail update if there are still spots available the day of the event.
In order to receive credit for attending, students must sign-in when they arrive, and remain present for the entire workshop (typically 45 minutes).
