Every student will receive a lottery number in their Skidmore email. Lottery numbers will be released to all students eligible for housing selection on April 5th.
All lottery numbers are random other than for two factors: class year and prior year's third.
There are 4 separate processes, 3 of which are online through our Housing Management
System.

There are multiple processes within the Housing Selection Process. Within our nine
residence halls there are 8 special interest communities available.
Students interested in Special Interest Housing must complete the On-Campus Application
as well as the Special Interest Housing Application.
Apartment Selection is the first on campus process to occur in early June. Students in the Classes of 2022 and 2023 are eligible for all of the apartments, while those in the Class of 2024 are only eligible for Sussman A&B.
