  • Margaret Hays, a Skidmore bookstore worker for half a century, died in Saratoga Springs on October 29, 2004. She was 88.
  • Robert Homan, a three-decade staff member in facilities and dining services at Skidmore, died March 1, 2012.
  • Eleanor L. Huston, former executive secretary to the Secretary of the College, died March 3, 2006, at Saratoga Hospital.
  • Robert Jarvis, former director of physical plant at Skidmore, died Oct. 23, 2010, of complications from cancer.
  • Richard Kelleher, a Skidmore maintenance worker from Glens Falls, N.Y., died October 28, 2004. He was 61.
  • Fenton Keyes, a college administrator, died November 26, 1999, in Philadelphia. He was 84.
  • Charles Henry Keyes, died in January 1925, at his son's home in New York City. He was 66.
  • D. Susan Knight, former Skidmore polo coach, died January 7, 2013, in Ballston Spa, N.Y. She was 53.
  • Mary Elizabeth Finch Larsen, who served as secretary to founder Lucy Skidmore Scribner and three Skidmore presidents, died February 27, 1987, in Saratoga Springs. She was 89.
  • Robert Burton Levo, a longtime campus facilities worker, died May 23, 2011, in Saratoga Springs. He was 74.
  • Ernest R. "Ernie" Lloyd III, a longtime member of the housekeeping staff, died May 19, 2010, at Albany Medical Center. He was 85.
  • David E. Long, the architect of Skidmore's modern fundraising program and longtime vice president at the College, died Feb. 7, 2012, at Saratoga Hospital.
  • David Mabb, who worked in grounds and dining services, died December 6, 2012. He was 55.
  • Richard Mabb, a longtime member of the facilities staff, died February 27, 2010, at Saratoga Hospital.
  • Carole McDermott, a longtime office manager in the Office of Communications, died August 22, 2014, in Saratoga Springs. She was 80.
  • Mary Elizabeth McMartin, a longtime member of the Student Affairs staff and the mother of a Skidmore graduate, died September 26, 2009, at Saratoga Hospital, following a short illness.
  • Jeanne Marie Monroe, a member of Skidmore's housekeeping staff for 16 years, died December 30, 2013, at the age of 54.
  • Kathleen Morrison, a teacher at Skidmore's Greenberg Child Care Center, died August 5, 2004, in Ballston Spa, N.Y. She was 49.
  • Edward J. Murray, supervisor of transportation and grounds from 1991 to 1998, died Feb. 22, 2006, at home. He was 69.
  • Debra McBroom Nichols of Amsterdam, N.Y., longtime academic administrative assistant for the Health and Exercise Sciences and Dance departments, died Sunday, July 10, 2016. She was 60.
