- Mary Elizabeth McMartin, a longtime member of the Student Affairs staff and the mother of a Skidmore graduate, died September 26, 2009, at Saratoga Hospital, following a short illness.
- Robert Meisner, a well-respected cook in Dining Services, died as a result of a tragic accident on Sunday, March 7, 2021. He was 65.
- Richard W. Mickus, manager of custodial operations and painters, died Friday, March 13, 2020. He was 75.
- Jeanne Marie Monroe, a member of Skidmore's housekeeping staff for 16 years, died December 30, 2013, at the age of 54.
- Joseph “Jo-Jo” L. Moore, who rose through the ranks to become chef, died on March 24, 2023. He was 84.
- Kathleen Morrison, a teacher at Skidmore's Greenberg Child Care Center, died August 5, 2004, in Ballston Spa, N.Y. She was 49.
- Raymond Murphy, who served Skidmore as an electrician until his retirement in 1997, died Sept. 1, 2021. He was 88.
- Edward J. Murray, supervisor of transportation and grounds from 1991 to 1998, died Feb. 22, 2006, at home. He was 69.
- John Myers, former supervisor of the science machine shop at Skidmore, died November 15, 2017, at Albany Medical Center, following a long struggle with cancer. He was 77.
- Frank Nesbitt, who retired as a supervisor in Facilities Services, died on Dec. 9, 2022. He was 73.
- Debra McBroom Nichols of Amsterdam, N.Y., longtime academic administrative assistant for the Health and Exercise Sciences and Dance departments, died Sunday, July 10, 2016. She was 60.
- Anne Nisler, a longtime member of Skidmore's housekeeping staff, died Sept. 8, 2013, at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady, N.Y. She was 93.
- Helen E. O'Rourke, a longtime staff member of Skidmore, died Feb. 18, 2017, at Saratoga Hospital. She was 79.
- Violet M. Oliver, a longtime member of the Housekeeping division, died Thursday, December 20, 2012. She was 87.
- Charles Osborn, a sergeant in campus safety, died February 25, 2006. He was 53.
- Anthony Otrembiak, a Skidmore College retiree, died February 1, 2005, at his home in Milton, N.Y.
- A prominent figure in the community and a personal friend to many, the former "First Lady" of Skidmore College passed away on January 24. In a recent interview, she discussed her love of Skidmore College and how she came to Saratoga Springs.
- Months after retiring from Skidmore in June 1987, Palamountain died at age 66 on Nov. 23, 1987, in Saratoga Springs, the result of a heart condition.
- Ann Page Perrino, a retiree from housekeeping, died June 7, 2004, in Greenfield Center, N.Y.
- Betty (Boyer) Platt, who supported several academic departments at Skidmore for two decades, died Jan. 29, 2021. She was 98.
