Kevin Young, author, poet and poetry editor at The New Yorker, will hold a live, hourlong reading and conversation with the Skidmore community at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21, as part of the Racial Justice Initiative at Skidmore. Young will read from his new anthology, "African American Poetry: 250 Years of Struggle and Song," to be released Oct. 20. Register online.

The Tang’s newest exhibition, “Energy in All Directions,” celebrates the legacies of the Shakers and the influential gallerist Hudson.
