Applications are now being accepted for the 2021 Skidmore Jazz Institute (June 27-July 9), Summer Theater Workshop with SITI Company (June 13-July 2) and New York State Summer Writers Institute (June 27-July 23).
After careful consideration of federal and state data on the status of COVID-19 and its mutations, present and potential, the College has decided that holding an on-campus Reunion this June is not in the best interest of our community.
The Liberty League has approved resumption of spring sports competition and championships for baseball, softball, men's lacrosse, women's lacrosse, men's tennis, women's tennis, men's rowing, women's rowing and men's golf. League competition will commence no earlier than the weekend of March 26.
The Skidmore Music Department will stream virtual senior recitals this spring. Atticus Rego ’21, a bass-baritone, will be the first to present at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 27. He is pursuing degrees in economics and theater. More information on recitals in April and May is coming soon.

The annual Winter/Miller Lecture at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 11, will feature acclaimed artist Nick Cave in conversation with Nathan Bloom, the 2020-21 Eleanor Linder Winter ’43 intern. At noon Friday, March 12, a Dunkerley Dialogue on the exhibition “Energy in All Directions” will feature poet Forrest Gander, artist Kay Rosen and Skidmore Professor April Bernard.
