Johane Simelane '13 talks about his experience with funded research in the SEE-Beyond program at Skidmore College. Johane studied as a health educator & community researcher in the Hhohho region of Swaziland, on a project focusing on male circumcision for HIV prevention.
By expanding funded opportunities beyond internships to include support for collaborative research, artistic apprenticeships and workshops, and other forms of engagement, SEE-Beyond attracts applicants from all academic areas.
