Program Information

Would you like to exercise outside?  On the water?  Would you like to watch the sunset or sunrise?  How about making new friends who appreciate health, fitness and camaraderie?  Would you like to represent Skidmore competitively as an adult?  Join the Skidmore Community Rowing Learn to Row Program!

This program is designed for adults who want to learn the sport of rowing – no experience is necessary! Athletes will start on the rowing machine and learn basics of the stroke, then move to the water under the guidance of the Skidmore College Rowing Staff.  Should you want to continue and row with our Community Rowing adult team, this program sets you up to transition into the session which begins June 6 (see below).
