Current initiatives: water management

• Cooling water recirculation: By changing the pump bearing cooler to recirculate water in some water-cooled equipment, Skidmore saves about 8 million gallons of water annually.
• Water-saving fixtures: Skidmore has installed low-volume toilets, low-flow shower heads and faucet aerators to reduce domestic water use.
