Bikemore

BikemoreStudents, faculty, staff, and summer campus residents may register for our free campus bikeshare, BikeMore, anytime online.

The registration process is entirely online. To join the program, Skidmore community members must complete this Google Form. It may take up to 4 business days to recieve an email from bikemore@skidmore.edu with your unique PIN code.

If you have signed up with BikeMore before, please email bikemore@skidmore.edu to retrieve your PIN code. PINs are in our system until a student graduates.

Anyone with a Skidmore ID, including students, staff, faculty, and summer campus residents can register with BikeMore. Bikes are found at the one-and-only Bikemore Rack located just outside the Lucy Scribner Library. Your rental is good for eight hours, so feel free to explore! Free helmets are available to borrow from the campus safety office in JoTo 1st floor. Please note that the BikeMore bikes are in storage through snow season, typically late November to mid-April.

The bikes have been used for everything from getting around campus, riding downtown to pick up groceries, or for a leisurely ride with a friend around Saratoga Springs. Check out our route brochure if you're looking for destination options.

For individuals seeking the flexibility of a personal bicycle, we encourage visiting Bikeatoga, a volunteer-run bike rescue which offers a free adopt-a-bike program. Learn more about how to get around town on our Transportation page.
