Bikemore

BikemoreFall 2020 Update:

BikeMore, our free bike share program, will re-launch at the start of the Fall semester on August 24th. The registration process will transition entirely online. To join the program, Skidmore community members must (1) watch the tutorial video below (2) fill out the online registration form* (3) email the completed form to bikemore@skidmore.edu. We will respond with a unique PIN code for each user as soon as possible.

The bikes are routinely cleaned and maintained throughout the semester, but a sanitizing station is available by the BikeMore racks in front of the Scribner Library. Users must sanitize the bicycles and lockboxes at checkout and return.

*This registration form is a fillable PDF, so it can be filled out on your computer and saved. Users can also screenshot the form and fill it out by hand digitally.

If you have signed up with BikeMore before, please email bikemore@skidmore.edu to retrieve your PIN code. PINs are in our system until a student graduates.

Anyone with a Skidmore ID, including students, staff, and faculty, can register with BikeMore. Bikes are found at the one-and-only Bikemore Rack located just outside the Lucy Scribner Library. Your rental is good for eight hours, so feel free to explore! The bikes have been used for everything from getting around campus, riding downtown to pick up groceries, or for a leisurely ride with a friend around Saratoga Springs.

For individuals seeking the flexibility of a personal bicycle, we encourage visiting Bikeatoga, a volunteer-run bike rescue which offers a free adopt-a-bike program. Learn more on our Transportation page.
