Learning Advanced Features of web-HUMAN

In web-HUMAN 6 users can

- graph the results of up to six variables with a choice of
either normalized or absolute value plots & either individual or multivariable format

- save and retrieve experiments you create

- use web-HUMAN to create lecture demonstrations

- create and save physiological pathology (i.e. new 'Patients')

- structure a lab in which students author their own models

- access Help directly on-line within the model and

- pass web-HUMAN data to Excel for more advanced analysis

II. Using more advanced features of web-HUMAN

0- How to Register & Login- Login is necessary for any Save/Retrieve Experiment-dependent maneuver but is not necessary for use of any other web-HUMAN feature. [That said, items 1-4 below ARE indeed Login dependant.]

1- Graphing & Save/Retrieve Experiment/ sample use- 6 variable graphing and how to Save/Retrieve/Share experiments

2- Lecture use/ - sample use of Save/Retrieve- creation of lecture demonstations

3- Physiological Pathology/ Create 'Patients'- sample use - create, store and retrieve new patients

4- Student authored models/ sample use - simulations created & stored by students in response to an assignment

5- Access on-line Help directly within the model - version 6.1 and above allow within-the-model access to information on all variables and a range of procedures

6-Graphing web-HUMAN Data in Excel: Moving data into Excel for graphing and analysis beyond web-HUMAN's built in graphing capabilities
