| An
introduction to the musicians and musical styles of British
rock and roll and pop music in the 1960s. Subjects will include
the antecedents of British rock, the social contexts in which
it flourished, the evolution of the musical styles and forms
in this milieu, and the impact this music had on the rest
of the world of popular music. |
