The Skidmore-Saratoga Consulting Partnership (SSCP) is an advanced seminar and
practicum (MB360). As a service-learning course, SSCP makes a positive impact on our
community by applying creative thought, thorough analysis, and rigorous research to
enable Saratoga’s for-profit and not-for-profit organizations to realize their potential and
achieve their goals. Three teams of highly accomplished student consultants will present
final deliverables for three clients: The Saratoga Juice Bar, Saratoga Springs Bike Share,
and The Roosevelt Baths and Spa.

at Skidmore. The presentation will exhibit the diversity of topics and places that
Anthropology students studied.

This session offers a critical review and analysis of current political issues and
controversies both in the U.S. and abroad. U.S. issues include crime and racism,
marriage equality, young voters and progressive and libertarian ideologies, and the nature
of the presidential nomination process. International issues include the international role
of China, immigration in France, elections and violence in Bangladesh, and the rise of
political opposition in Belarus.
