decade at Skidmore, Marie and I remain just as excited as the day we arrived in 2003.
We want to see Skidmore’s incredible new Center for Integrated Sciences completed
and serving as an intellectual and creative hub to the entire campus. We want to make the
kind of liberal arts education we offer even more relevant and transformational for our stu-
dents. We want to continue building our endowment and the Skidmore Fund so that the Col-
lege can continue to stretch, evolve, open itself to an even broader array of students, and
become even better known for its excellence and uniqueness.
We are enjoying tremendous momentum right now, and we intend to use that energy to
propel the College further toward realizing its most ambitious goals. At Skidmore, where cre-
ative thought truly does matter, Marie and I feel most grateful to have a role in creating such
an exciting future.
