The October staff and faculty meetings will take place this Friday, Oct. 6. The staff meeting is scheduled for 1 p.m., and the faculty meeting will be held at 3:30 p.m. Additional details will be shared by email.
Saratoga Book Festival
President Conner, alumna Cleyvis Natera ’99 (“Neruda on the Park”), and English Professor and Salmagundi Editor Bob Boyers will be among this year’s presenters at the Oct. 12-15 Saratoga Book Festival. On Sunday, Oct. 15, a film screening of “The Right to Read” will take place at 1 p.m. in Gannett Auditorium and will be followed by a 3 p.m. discussion between President Conner and local nonprofit and business leader Ed Mitzen.
Celebration of President Emeritus Philip A. Glotzbach
Join President Conner and members of the Skidmore community in Gannett Auditorium, at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 18, for a panel discussion celebrating the era of Philip A. Glotzbach, Skidmore's seventh president. The panel will be facilitated by Susan Kress, professor of English emerita and former vice president for academic affairs. A reception will follow.

President’s office hours
President Conner will hold office hours from 3 to 4 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 2. All faculty, staff, and students are invited to request a 10-minute, in-person appointment. To register, please email presoff@skidmore.edu. Requests will be handled in the order they are received, and additional open office hours will be announced throughout the year.
