AI in Society: Understanding the Tech, Stakeholders, and Regulations to Unpack the Top Issues on AI
Nick Maietta, vice president of legal automation at Luminos.AI, will cut through the noise surrounding artificial intelligence, offering a practical framework to understand the technology, key players, and the incentives that drive them in a lecture at 4 p.m. Thursday, April 16, in Gannett Auditorium. Chip in for Skidmore at Charter Day Kickoff
Join the Skidmore Fund and the Office of Advancement from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, April 29, in front of the Lucy Scribner Library to celebrate Charter Day at Skidmore. Careers That Make a Difference Panel
At 5:30 p.m. Thursday, April 16, in the Wyckoff Center, Suzi Pond ’01, founder of Red Bird Media, and Sarah Faude ’09, an independent consultant, will discuss their paths to Skidmore, their choice of majors, and their careers after graduation. YES! Days for admitted students will be held Friday, April 17, and Monday, April 20. Increased traffic is expected across campus. Community members are encouraged to welcome guests, offer directions, and answer questions as students explore their next four years at Skidmore.
Geo Trees Sculpture Unveiling volunteer sign up
The Geo Trees Sculpture Unveiling will be held Friday, April 24, from 2 to 3 p.m. on Wiecking Green. All Skidmore community members are welcome to participate in the event to receive a free T-shirt and stand in the location of an actual geothermal bore. For more information, contact Jenna Kessler.
