Renowned
German film director Margarethe von Trotta,
winner of the Venice Film Festival Award for Best Director
for Marianne & Julianne (1981), will participate
in a film festival at Skidmore College on April 12th and
13th. During her visit, she will deliver a talk, participate
in public interviews and discuss her films with college
faculty in panel discussions. Six of von Trotta’s
films will be shown at Skidmore in the week preceding
her visit.
