Welcome to Saratoga Springs and the 18
th
annual Skidmore College Saratoga Classic Horse
Show. Our management team and executive committee is committed to making sure that
you have the best experience possible. Our goal is to provide you with a quality show
experience that delivers a friendly atmosphere, thoughtful scheduling, and limited entries.
We value your input and strive to meet your needs. We realize that there are some venue
constraints, but please be assured that we are doing our best to make changes that will
improve the show. In fact, we are in the process of planning our move to a new site to
better suit your needs. Stay tuned!
The most important aspect of this horse show is that ALL proceeds go directly to fund
scholarship awards for students admitted to Skidmore College. We are committed to
making Skidmore accessible for all qualified students and currently are not able to do so.
This is the College’s single most important fundraising endeavor, and we are extremely
grateful to all of our loyal sponsors for their continuous support and willingness to help
provide access to higher education. Thank you!
We hope that you find the time to participate in the many exciting events that both the city
of Saratoga Springs and Skidmore College have to offer. Please visit us under the tent, and
we will be happy to provide you with helpful suggestions of where to go and what to see in
Saratoga to make your stay enjoyable. We invite you and your children to visit the Skidmore
campus, the Tang Teaching Museum and Art Gallery, and the Arthur Zankel Music Center. If
you would like a guided tour of the College, please ask and we will arrange a time for you.
