To be shown by Junior Exhibitors. Fence height for large ponies: 2' 6", small and medium ponies: 2’ with spreads not to exceed fence heights. Riders
may not cross enter into any classes that exceed 3’0” except Children’s Jumpers, USHJA National Derby, and Equitation classes where the fences do not
exceed 3’6”. Children’s Hunter Pony Riders may NOT cross enter into the Pony Hunter or Green Pony Hunter Divisions at the same competition. Ponies
showing in the Children’s Pony Division may not cross enter into the Pony Hunter or Green Pony Hunter Divisions at the same competition. See

will be run in accordance with USEF and USHJA rules and Zone 2 specifications. See:
It is required
that the exhibitor show in at least two classes in their respective division to be eligible to show in Hunter Classics.
Handy Hunter
: Obstacles will simulate those found in hunt country. The course will have two changes of direction and at least one combination. Ponies
may be required to trot over one lowered fence on the course. Emphasis will be placed on turns and promptness.
Each round will be given a numerical score based on performance. This class may not be used as a conformation class. Exception: Green Hunter Pony
Division.

Championships
will be awarded to the two of four horses scoring the most points over fences. In addition, only these horses will receive full points for
ribbons won under saddle and half points for model classes. Exception: High Performance and Performance Hunter sections with three classes receive half
points for the under saddle class, see HU 106. Prize money and eight ribbons will be awarded unless otherwise stated.
Courses
: Obstacles must simulate those found in the hunting field such as natural post and rail, brush, stone wall, white board fence or gate, chicken coop,
aiken hedge, oxer, etc.
Hunter Under Saddles
to be shown at a walk, trot, and canter. Light contact with the horse’s mouth is required. May be asked to hand gallop one way of
the ring, however, no more than eight entries may be asked at one time. No martingales are allowed. Green and non-rated divisions will not be asked to
hand gallop.
Hunter Over Fences
to be judged on performance and soundness unless otherwise noted.
