Sign up for departmental composting pilot program
The Sustainability Office’s student compost managers are seeking department liaisons to register a compost bin site and be a point of contact. Managers will set up a compost station and will empty bins weekly. Register online or email the compost managers for more information.

American Sign Language Workshops at the Tang
In conjunction with the upcoming exhibition “Christine Sun Kim: Oh Me Oh My,” the Tang is offering introductory workshops on deaf history and culture, American Sign Language, and basic ASL vocabulary and grammar taught by certified ASL instructor Colette Steves. Registration is required. Classes are at 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 27, March 20, and April 17.
Asana through Art: Yoga at the Tang
The Tang invites the Skidmore community to a series of art-inspired yoga sessions. Asana through Art: Yoga at the Tang are free, beginner-friendly yoga classes open to faculty, students, and staff at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, March 7, and Tuesday, April 11. 2023 Make Your Voice Heard Skidmore Public Policy Prize
Students are encouraged to apply to the 2023 Make Your Voice Heard Skidmore Public Policy Prize competition, an opportunity to engage with a public policy issue that is important to them. Full applications must be submitted by email to Marla Melito by 5 p.m. Friday, April 14. First prize is $1,000; two runners-up will each receive $500.
