2025 President's Awards for Leadership and Service
This year’s President's Awards for Leadership and Service will go to students Alex Ciardullo ’25, Bridget Coyer ’25, Yemi Majiyagbe ’25, and Mbaye Seck ’25; faculty and staff Janet G. Casey, ‘Becca Johnson, Matt Lucas, Pushkala Prasad, and Mary Hoehn; and the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) Executive Board (team award). Student awards will be presented at the Student Leadership Awards event on April 23, and the faculty, staff, and team awards will be presented at the Retirement and Recognition event on May 20. President Conner extends his heartfelt thanks and congratulations to all recipients for their extraordinary service to Skidmore.
Charter Day campus kickoff event
Stop by Case walkway from 2 to 3:30 p.m. today, Wednesday, April 23, for a school-spirited snack and share what you love about Skidmore. The annual Academic Festival will celebrate our students’ achievements on Thursday, May 1. A broad range of exhibitions in artistic, scientific, and humanistic fields will take place throughout the day. The program will be posted on the Periclean Honors Forum website. SpringMore inaugural event
Peer Health Educators and the Department of Health Promotion invite you to the first annual SpringMore event in front of McCaffery-Wagman Center from 3 to 5 p.m. on Friday, April 25. Enjoy live music, llamas, activities, ice cream, and more.
Join the Workforce Team Challenge
The Work Force Team Challenge will take place on Thursday, May 15, in Albany. Register online by Monday, May 5. To participate, select Skidmore’s team and fill out the required information. Do not check out; Skidmore’s team captain, Darren Drabek, will manage payments. Out of the Darkness Walk
Register for the Out of the Darkness Walk and participate in an afternoon of remembrance, hope, and healing at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 27, on Case Green. Students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members are welcome to walk in support of those impacted by suicide or mental health struggles.
