Odekon to deliver Moseley lecture March 6 |

Over the years, Skidmore's NGWSD has given more than 1,000 local girls the opportunity to discover and enjoy sports in a fun and informative clinic setting led by our women athletes.

Jazz Institute faculty share Grammy |
Skidmore Jazz Institute faculty members recently received Grammy awards for their work as members of the Christian McBride Big Band. The band's album Bringin' It won in the Best Large Jazz Ensemble Album category.
The album features two 2018 Skidmore Jazz Institute faculty members: Michael Dease and Steve Davis. Also part of the band are two former Jazz Institute faculty members who were also students in the program: Brandon Lee and James Burton III.

A.J. Schneller, teaching professor of environmental studies and sciences, along with Sara Coburn '16, published an article titled "For-profit environmental voluntourism in Costa Rica: Teen volunteer, host community, and environmental outcomes" in the Journal of Sustainable Tourism. |

Johnson publishes paper |
Rebecca Johnson, associate professor of psychology, published a paper in the Quarterly Journal of Experimental Psychology (Vol. 71(1), 220–228) titled "The Preferred Viewing Location in Top-to-Bottom Sentence Reading." The paper was based on eye-tracking research conducted with Emma Starr '16. |
