Skidmore defeats RIT to win Liberty League title |
A dominant defensive display by the Skidmore College women's basketball team was the difference as the Thoroughbreds won the Liberty League title after a 65-42 victory over RIT.
The team will travel to Brunswick, Maine to face Fairleigh Dickinson-Florham Friday evening in the first round of the NCAA Division III championship tournament.

Skidmore physics professor Mary Crone Odekon will present the College's annual Edwin M. Moseley Faculty Research Lecture at 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 6 in Gannett Auditorium, Palamountain Hall. The title of the lecture is "Galaxies in the 21st Century." |

Meet Anita Miczek |
Anita Miczek, assistant to the director of sponsored research, is retiring after 35 years.
Miczek said that when her journey at Skidmore began, she saw it as an opportunity to utilize her office skills. Little did she know it would become a long-term career highlighted by personal relationships, professional accomplishments, and twice receiving the President’s Award.
