President’s office hours
President Conner will hold open office hours from 10 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 22, and from 3 to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, April 18. All faculty, staff, and students are invited to request a 10-minute, in-person appointment. To register, please email presoff@skidmore.edu. Requests will be handled in the order they are received.
Open forum for VP of enrollment, dean of admissions and financial aid
All members of the campus community are invited to attend an open forum for the final candidate in the search for Skidmore's next vice president of enrollment and dean of admissions and financial aid from 3:15 to 4:15 p.m. on Monday, March 6, in Filene Recital Hall. Christina Montville joins Skidmore from Florida International University after serving most recently as associate director of residential life. She has held positions in residential life at Teachers College, Columbia University, Dickinson College, Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and Lycoming College. Registration for summer sports camps
Registration for summer sports camps is now open. Camps are led by Skidmore coaches, and children learn teamwork concepts while acquiring skills in the sport of their choice. Choose from baseball, basketball, field hockey, ice hockey, lacrosse, soccer, swimming, and volleyball. Contact Coleen Stephenson for more information.
Students invited to the Tang Party Big Meeting on March 5
Learn all about the annual Tang Party at the Big Meeting at 7 p.m. on Sunday, March 5, at the Tang. This year’s celebration of student creativity through art and performances is co-organized by Dinah Luomanen ’25 and Sritha Ravi ’25. Skidmore Theater presents “The Place that Made You”
A modern-day re-imagining of Jonah and the Whale, this tale of love, loss, and glory in small-town America, written by Darcy Parker Bruce and directed by Tait Brencher '23, will be performed March 3-8.
