Deb
Hall, Associate Professor of Art, worked for many years as co-owner and
designer with Cambridge Design Associates in Cambridge, New York, and
as a Los Angeles graphic designer and photographer before coming to Skidmore.
She holds a BFA in Photographic Illustration from Rochester Institute
of Technology and an MFA in Digital Visual Art from Vermont College. She
has also attended Art Center College of Design and Kent State University
in graphic design and typography. She teaches courses in communication
design and manages the department’s design studio. In addition to
exhibiting her work throughout the region and beyond, she is frequently
featured as a guest lecturer on typography and digital art. Her work is
included in the permanent collection of the Portland Art Museum and many
private collections.
