Janet
Sorensen, Associate Professor of Art, received her BFA from Kansas State
University and her MA and MFA degrees from the University of Iowa. Specializing
in drawing and painting, she also has a strong interest in intaglio printmaking.
Her work has been featured in many regional and national exhibitions,
most recently at the Rice Gallery of the Albany Institute of History
and Art, the Yates Gallery at Siena College, and the Slocum Gallery at
East Tennessee State University. She has been a visiting artist and guest
lecturer at regional, national and international venues, including the
University of Wales Institute, Cardiff, and Studio Art Centers International,
Florence, Italy.
