In
addition to teaching courses in photography, Associate Professor and Ella
VanDyke Tuthill Chair, Richard Linke has exhibited his work in many museums
and galleries throughout the northeast and international cities, such
as New York City, Boston, Paris, Tokyo, and Berlin. His photographs are
held in many collections and have appeared in scores of publications including
Architectural Digest, Atlantic Monthly, The New York Times, and Adirondack
Life, among others, and his art and photographic research have garnered
many awards including grants from the Polaroid Corporation, Sony Corporation,
and the New York State Council on the Arts. Along with his work at Skidmore,
he has served as photo-historian and longstanding consultant to the Adirondack
Museum and also as technical consultant at NASA Johnson Space Center.
He received his BS degree from St. Lawrence University and his MFA from
Ohio University.
