Victoria Palermo, Visiting Assistant Professor of Studio Art, teaches courses in foundation design and sculpture. Her creative work embraces both two- and three-dimensional areas including installation, and she has exhibited in galleries across the country including Art in General, White Columns, and LFL Gallery in NYC, the ART OMI International Sculpture Park in Ghent, NY, Bucheon Gallery in San Francisco, and Dirt Gallery in LA. Her work has been reviewed in Sculpture magazine, and she has received several awards including a New York Foundation for the Arts fellowship grant, an individual artist grant from the New York State Council on the Arts, and an artist residency at Yaddo. In addition to teaching, her professional background includes directing the Art Department at Adirondack Scenic, Inc. (Glens Falls, NY), and creating set and scenic designs. She received her BS in Art from Skidmore College and her MFA from Bennington College (Bennington, VT).
