Prof. Hauser's peeves

1. The title of your paper should be "naked," neither underlined nor italicized.
2. Use a single staple in the upper left corner—no paper clips, no report covers.
3. Page numbers: count but do not number the first page of text; number the rest either bottom center or top right.
4. In quotations, periods and commas go inside quotation marks, while colons and semicolons go outside.
5. It’s = it is; its = possessive.  Know the difference and use them correctly!
6. Don’t use "societal"; use "social" instead.
7. Titles of other works you refer to should be underlined or italicized.
