Jordana Dym, professor of history and director of the MDOCS program, has had an article, titled "Around, Over, and Through the Americas," published in Mapping Movement in American History and Culture, a publication of the Newberry Library's Hermon Dunlap Smith Center for the History of Cartography.

Pushkala Prasad, Zankel Chair in Management for Liberal Arts Students, co-edited The Routledge Companion to Critical Management Studies, which challenges the traditionally peripheral status of postcolonialist, feminist, and other new approaches in the discipline.

David Karp, professor of sociology and director of Skidmore’s Project on Restorative Justice, was quoted in an April 6 article on the Campus PRISM (Promoting Restorative Initiatives for Sexual Misconduct) Project in Justmeans, "an online community and publisher of news about corporate social responsibility, sustainability, energy, health, education, technology and innovation."

Chris Mann, assistant professor of government, was quoted in a Daily Gazette story about the upcoming New York State Republican primary. Mann notes that "the Republicans have never had a presidential primary in New York with the kind of contestation and stakes of this year" and that "because everyone is paying so much attention, there will be more participation than usual. That’s going to make it hard for the pollsters to predict what’s going to happen."

Ron Seyb, Joseph C. Palamountain Jr. Professor of Government, was a source for a story by WNYT-TV, Channel 13, about the attention being paid to the Capital Region by candidates for president in the run-up to the April 19 New York State primary. The story aired April 7.
