Wrapping up a remarkable academic year
The academic year at Skidmore is coming to a close with lots of good news, including the announcement that the College has shifted to a lower COVID-19 alert level and plans are underway for an in-person Commencement celebration for the Class of 2021 on May 22.
Skidmore implemented a variety of safety measures this year to keep the campus community safe, and the year was filled with fantastic achievements, special moments and exceptional creativity.

There have been some unexpected moments this year, too, including this late-April snowstorm during a game between the Skidmore men's lacrosse team and Vassar College.
The pandemic has not put any damper on creative expression. Choral Director Noah Palmer conducts a socially distanced Skidmore College Vocal Chamber Ensemble in Helen Filene Ladd Concert Hall in Arthur Zankel Music Center.
Peris Tushabe ’21 shows clothing for sale at the Tang Bazaar, a marketplace for Skidmore students to share and sell their creative endeavors, including art, jewelry, clothing, pottery and more.
