Annual Report, External Master’s Program Committee
During 2002-2003, the External Master’s Program Committee met a
total of
nine times.
Eleven students personally presented their academic programs to the
Committee for review and all received approval for their individual plans.
The programs approved by the Committee included Adolescent Antisocial
Behavior, American Studies: Turn of the Century New England, Adirondack
History, Organizational Studies, Writing the Self: Literary Identity as
Process, and Conversations in American Democracy.
The Committee also discussed how the College’s redefinition of “Liberal
Arts
Credit” impacts the Master’s Program.
Finally, the Committee recommended that six students be awarded the Master
of Arts degree.
