your intention with the HPAC. Write the first draft of your
essay. |

Begin
systematic review and preparation for MCAT, DAT, etc. Continue
on this very important task until you take the test. |

Request
letters of recommendation from three professors or health
professionals who know you well. Revise your essay.

February |
By
February 15th you must request two pre-interview advising
meetings (with HPAC members) and submit the following
to the Committee:
Interview Application Form
Most Recent Transcripts
MCAT Scores (If Available)
Brief Summary of Clinical Experience
Two Letters of Recommendation.

Register
for MCAT, DAT, etc.

March |
Attend
pre-interview advising sessions. Send the following materials
to HPAC, Dana 172:
1. Your practice AMCAS forms, including your personal statement
2. A list of persons who have agreed to write recommendation
letters for you -- Committee will need three prior to interview.
3. A copy of your latest transcript and spring class schedule |
| April |
Request
Interview with HPAC. It will be scheduled the week after
classes end if your file is complete.
Take
MCAT, DAT or other test.

Interview
with HPAC. Complete AMCAS Appliction with personal statement.
Make sure all recommendation letters have been received
by HPAC. |
| Upon
receipt of test
scores |
Be
sure HPAC received your scores. |
| Mid
June |
Mail
your application materials to AMCAS or other service. |
| Early
Summer |
Send
the following to the HPAC Administrative Assistant, Dana
172:
1. Letter to Committee requesting its letter of recommendation
be sent to the health professional schools.
2. Copy of your final AMCAS or other common application
- include your final grade report or transcript for the
spring semester
3. List of the schools with complete mailing addresses. |
