There are also fee-based portfolio sites. These sites offer high quality professional presentation of portfolios on the web at a high cost. An example of such a site is Smart Art. You might ask, "Why would anyone use a fee-based service when they could create their own web site for free?" The answer is that the pay services may attract more visitors and advertise with banners on the web.
