you can do or how far you can go. Come and join our Human Resources
team for a 12-week rotational internship this Summer! As an HR intern,
you will spend two weeks in the Human Resources Development department
where you will create an online HRD reference library as well as
analyze data for metrics. You will also spend two weeks in the Compensation
department where you will work on Excel spreadsheets and benchmarking
surveys. After that, you will have two weeks with the Benefits group
to assist with gathering information for open enrollment and assist
with planning for our annual health fair. You will also spend two
weeks in the HRIS group to help with data entry, and you will also
get a chance to spend two weeks in our Staffing department to assist
recruiters with updating agency agreements, scanning resumes and
college relations.
Qualifications:
someone actively pursuing a career in Human Resources, preferably
a Business major with an emphasis in Human Resource Management.
We are also looking for someone who has excellent verbal and written
communication skills, someone who is a self-starter, and someone
who is motivated and energetic to learn anything and everything
they can in their 12 weeks with us! Knowledge of HTML, MS Office
(must be particularly proficient in Outlook, Word and Excel). Knowledge
of FrontPage, Resumix and SAP a plus.

in Paris sponsors an internship program that supports the objectives
of promoting U.S. products in the French marketplace, analyzing

French businesses. The program accepts between 10 to 15 interns
at a time, divided between French and American students.
Qualifications:
Must be currently enrolled in an academic program and must be
willing to make a minimum three month commitment. A good working
knowledge of French is helpful.

BUSINESS SCHOLARS SUMMER INTERNSHIP: A paid internship designed
for students approaching their final year of graduate or undergraduate
school. Students will be chosen based on their interest in the field
of magazine publishing. Time Inc. will provide the participating
intern with an experience that will compliment their studies through
practical work experience. Depending upon the intern's main area
of interest, the summer intern will spend 9-12 weeks at our corporate
headquarters in New York City working in either consumer marketing,
finance, information technology, media sales and marketing, new
business development, production, or a particular magazine's business
office.
Qualifications:
Candidates should have proven records of leadership and achievement
and have demonstrated the capacity for continuous development. Candidates
should be comfortable with quantitative analysis and take a creative,
yet pragmatic approach to problem solving. Also important is the
ability to motivate others, to communicate complex ideas clearly,
and to work collaboratively. Recruitment efforts will reflect Time
Inc.'s commitment to diversity by placing emphasis on the recruitment

Compensation:
If the intern is rated by his/her manager as 'exceeds requirements'
at the end of the assignment, the student will be eligible to receive
a personal $5,000 scholarship plus a $5,000 donation will be given
to his/her school's general scholarship fund in the intern's name.
Based upon his/her performance, the intern may be invited to rejoin
Time Inc. in a full-time capacity after graduation.
