Dedicated to children and adults who have Down Syndrome, Pathfinder
Village is home to about 80 people with this disorder. A variety
of internships are available: Administration, Development and Public
Affairs, Pathfinder Village School, Food Service, Medical/Nursing
Services, Program Services, Recreation, Residential Administration,
Social Services, and Staff Education. Typical undergrad intern program
ranges from several-week assignment to semester-long placement.
Longer programs, up to 6 months are possible through special arrangement.
Interns encounter hands-on education opportunities.
Qualifications:
at least 2.0- GPA both overall and in major, must have completed
30 hours of coursework, and have completed credits in one of the
following areas: Administration, Business, Education, Psychology,

Production Assistant: Will assist the TimeKapsules producers in
Preproduction, Production and Post Production of TimeKapsules video
documentaries. Will perform login operations during filming. This
internship will train selected applicants for future Producer/Interviewer
positions within TimeKapsules operations.
Qualifications:
Ability to multitask. Must have a strong desire to work with the
Production Team in bringing the essence of the documentary subject
to life during the three phases of production.

Description:
Outreach Intern. JACS is a human services organization of committed
staff and volunteers who provide support to low-income youth who
participate in the Job Corps program. JACS is seeking interns to
conduct outreach and assessment calls with low income youth. Interns
also provide assistance to the youth in the form of advice, encouragement
and referrals to community resources. Work 4-8 hours/week; minimum
1 semester/quarter or summer. Interns will go through 4 hours of
initial training which includes information of JACS, Job Corps,
and student needs; basic counseling techniques and resource development.
Ongoing individual supervision and quarterly group training.
Qualifications:
College Junior or Senior/Psychology, Social Work or related field.
Desire to learn basic counseling skills and to help youth. Ability
to listen effectively and establish rapport with diverse populations.
Bilingual in Spanish or Asian language a plus. Previous experience
working with youth a plus.
Compensation:
