The Teach In China program offers Skidmore graduates a year long, paid professional teaching opportunity at a provincial university in Shandong province in eastern China.

• One-year paid position teaching English as a foreign language in the People’s Republic of China
  
• Teach English as a foreign language through courses in spoken English, written English, reading English texts, and English cultural studies.
  
• Knowledge of Mandarin and teaching experience/certification not required.
  
• A weekly campus-based orientation session will prepare those selected for their assignments.
