Penfield Hall (South Quad)
Penfield Hall is one of six south quad areas at Skidmore College.
History
Penfield Hall was built in the 1960s, and is named after a trustee of the college, Adelia Penfield. Adelia Penfield was one of the first women Lucy Skidmore Scribner chose in 1903 to help her manage the Young Women's Industrial Club. Mrs. Penfield was named a trustee of the newly chartered Skidmore School of Arts in 1911 and served on the board until her death in 1936.

All rooms in Penfield Hall are suite style. Each suite can contain a different combination of single rooms, double/triple rooms, and a bathroom.
