Residence Hall Room Selection

Residence Hall Room Selection for current members of the classes of 2015, 2016, and 2017 has now begun.  The selection process will be available April 21st-April 25th between 8:00am and 3:30pm.  Students in good standing that have not yet been housed for the 2014-2015 academic year in one of our earlier processes (Apartment Housing, Accommodations, Special Interest Housing, or, if not declined, Off-Campus Housing) will be able to access this process any time after their designated selection time.

Area Coordinator position opening

The Office of Residence Life at Skidmore College has an opening for an Area Coordinator (AC).  The AC is a live-on, twelve month position with a competitive salary, excellent benefits, and a board plan during the academic year.

Responsibilities include managing an area of residence halls on-campus, supervising Resident Assistants in the area; and coordinating Staff Training efforts.

Room Changes

The 2013-2014 Room Change Application is now available.  For more information and frequently asked questions, click on the "Room Changes" link on the left navigation bar.

Bicycle Storage Room

Skidmore College, through the Office of Residential Life, is offering bicycle storage to students residing on-campus for the purpose of providing a safe and secure location for personally owned bicycles.  To register to use the Bicycle Storage room you must complete the application at the link below.  You will need to have your bike registered with Campus Safety as part of their Bike Registration program and have your bike's registration number on you to complete the application

The Bicycle Storage room is located in the Wait Hall basement, and is accessed through a door that is on the back side of the building near Wait parking lot.  The Bicycle Storage room is locked 24/7 and is accessible only to those that register for its use.

Please note that due to space limitations, only the first 95 completed bicycle storage applications will be accepted for storage this academic year.
