Fall 2009

~Skidmore Men gallop past work to Ride 13-5
  Saturday's game was the first of the season for the Skidmore Men. With junior starter Alek Krazinski laid up, fourth man Jordan Isicoff started in his first game with Seniors Dan Haro and Max Nager. Working together the boys scored an empressive 11 goals in the first two chukkers, while holding off the guys from WTR the rest of the match.
~Skidmore Women win match against Kemptville 6-5
  In the Skidmore Women played a nail biting game against the Canadian team Sunday at Winamaker. Skidmore and Kemptville traded goals throughout most of the game, with impressive plays by Sophmore Anastacia Rodzianko and Junior Valerie Schwartz the Thoroughbreds brought home a victory.

 

Spring 2009

~Skidmore Men ride hard against Yale 18-23
  Sunday's game brought out the strength of the Thoroughbred Men. Skidmore Men played the best match of this season against the boys from Yale, coming out strong in the first half, but missing in the third chukker. The pentalty shots from Sophmore Alek Krazinski and Junior Dan Haro were not enough to surpass the 2 point shots from Yale's Graham Radman.
~Skidmore Women miss by a goal to Yale 11-12
  Friday's impressive match against the Yale women brought out the best in the Skidmore Ladies. Throughout the match it was anyone's game, goals were traded between both teams untill the last chukker when Skidmore tied it up. After a nail bitting shoot out the Yale Women won.

~Skidmore Women miss to Cornell 5- 25

~Skidmore Men fall to Cornell 2-30
  The second game of the season brought another difficult game for the Skidmore Polo Men. Riding hard against Big Red, Skidmore was able to score 2 goals against the Northeastern Regional champs.
~Skidmore Women battled Yale 11-10
  The ladies of Skidmore Polo rode hard and fast under the lights in New Haven on Friday. While comanding the score board for most of the game, Yale was able to make up the loss in the last chukker to ride past Skidmore in the last 30 seconds.
~Skidmore Men played hard against Uconn 1-30
  In a difficult game against the Uconn team, the Skidmore Men fault hard to prevent a shut out. Junior Dan Haro scored the Thoroughbred's only goal on a pentaty shot.

 

Spring 2008

~ Skidmore Men played hard against Yale 5-15
 

For their first game of the season, the Skidmore Varsity Men rode hard against Yale Saturday afternoon. In the first chukker, Skidmore's Alek Krazinski scored 2 goals against the boys in blue. In the second chukker Yale took it up a few notches, driving the score board up for Yale. After a fall by a Yale player, Skidmore finished the first half with goals assisted by Dan Haro and Max Nager. In the second half Skidmore continued to play hard and scored again untill the final score of 5-15 was reached.

The Skidmore Ladies played hard against Yale Friday Night. Throughout most of the game the score was tied up untill the second half when Skidmore took the lead. In the final chukker Skidmore came out on top.

 

FALL 2007

~ Skidmore Women beat Louisville 14-8
 

The Skidmore Varsity Ladies bested the top players from Louisville in a tight match. Louisville began the game with a lead over Skidmore in the first two chukkers. In the second half, Skidmore's erica Kratz and Liz Holson scored an impressive number of goals to take the lead over Louisville. In the final chukker, Megan Kiessling provided a number of great assists that drove the score board upward for Skidmore. With a final score of 14-8, the Skidmore Women are proud to start their season off with a victory.

~ Skidmore Women beat Michigan 14-4
 

The Skidmore Varsity Ladies continued their undefeated season by riding past the competition from Michigan. Finishing the game with an impressive lead, the Skidmore Women are excited to travel to Bill Fields to gather more victories.
