What is Inter-Hall Board?

The Inter-Hall Board (IHB) shall enforce the IHB Operating Codes, discuss co-curricular matters pertaining to residential living and campus quality and plan and implement all-hall and all-campus events. The IHB shall consist of the following: the Vice President for Residential Affairs as Chair, Hall Presidents and Vice Presidents from each residence hall, Off-Campus Senator, Northwoods Village Senator, and Scribner Village Senator.

Basically, IHB plans a bunch of fun campus events (like Moorebid Ball and Fun Day) and advocates for students looking to make positive policy changes at Skidmore.

What does a Hall President have to do?

Hall Presidents shall be the chief advocates of their residence halls, assist their Vice President with the planning and implementation of all-hall events, serve on Senate and IHB, and fulfill at least one Senate committee requirement.

What does a Hall V.P. have to do?

Hall Vice Presidents shall plan and implement all-hall events, serve on IHB, and fulfill the duties of Hall President if there is a vacancy in their respective residence hall.

The Off-Campus, Northwoods Village, and Scribner Village Senators shall be advocates for their constituencies, serve on Senate and IHB, and fulfill one at least two Senate committee requirements."
