SkidTv is located in a secret broadcasting facility within Media Services. For years, we have strived to bring excellent television to the skidmore community, as well as actively covering events on campus. Students with all kinds of backgrounds and interests come to SkidTv to learn and perfect their multimedia skills. We actively encourage new students to join SkidTv, and gain hands-on experience about all the various aspects relating to putting on a televisions show including writing scripts, planning scenes, directing, lighting, editing, and so on. Each year students involved with SkidTv produce new shows and films with increasing expertise. We also hold an international student film festival each year to showcase student work from both students on campus and around the world.
