Summer Course Auditor Instructions:
1. Select course(s).
Auditors are permitted to audit a maximum of two courses per summer session. Select courses using the Online Master Schedule at http://www2.skidmore.edu/MasterSchedule/ and the Summer Sessions Course Descriptions. Please note that Summer Studio Art courses and workshops are NOT available to auditors. If you wish to participate in a Non-credit Studio Art Workshop, you must apply as a visiting student using the Visiting Student Application (Coming Soon).
2. Request instructor’s permission via email.

3. Forward instructor’s email granting you permission to audit the course to mneedham@skidmore.edu.
4. Apply online: (Application Coming Soon)
Application fee: $40 (non-refundable) via credit card on the online application, per session. Applications are accepted 2 weeks before each session begins. Session 1 applications are accepted May 14 – 30, 2013. Session 2 applications are accepted June 17 – July 3, 2013.
5. Pay the auditing fee to Marianne Needham at the Special Programs Office, 2nd Floor, Filene Hall. Check payable to Skidmore College.
- $250 per course - if you are younger than 55 years old
- $25 per course - 55 years or older
- Athletic facilities fee (optional): $100 per session
PLEASE NOTE:
Students exclusively auditing courses do not have access to supplemental services such as the Health Center, Counseling Services, Student Academic Services, departmental tutoring, etc. Use of the Sports Center is by special fee only.
Students are not permitted to audit studio art courses, courses with limited seating, or courses in which the instructor does not permit auditing.
Blackboard: To obtain blackboard for your course, contact Kelly Dempsey at kdempsey@skidmore.edu. Include your name, student ID, and course number.
