Location: Dana 382.

Facilities: The station consists of an Olympus Fluoview 300 system (FV300) purchased in 2002 with generous support from the Alden Trust Foundation. The FV 300 provides superb image quality with 12 bit, 2048 x 2048 pixel resolution, line, vector and point scanning and scan modes up to 4 frame/sec at 512 x 512. The system uses a fully motorized BX 61 light microscope equipped with Nomarski DIC and fluorescence optics. The confocal component uses both green and blue light lasers. The system is fully integrated with a PC computer which allows for versatile image analysis including 3-dimensional imaging and time lapse monitoring along with an Olympus DP71 Digital camera.
