An Olympus, BH2 light microscope equipped with DIC and fluorescence optics; an Olympus MF200W7 Microflash system; Optronics DEI-470 high resolution camera with a SONY PVM-1353MD color monitor, a Panasonic PV 4601 VCR; an Olympus PMCBSD automated camera system.
An Olympus IX-70 inverted light microscope (brightfield, phase and fluorescence optics) equipped with a SONY RM-C950 high resolution video camera. The system is connected to a Dell computer equipped with Image Pro Plus image analysis software. This microscope station also has a Narashige MN151 micromanipulator and IM 300 microinjector system attached for critical single cell work. A Narashige PC-10 pipette puller is available for making micropipettes for microinjections and micro-physiology experiments. |
