Skidmore faculty members from a diverse array of disciplines have a strong history and interest in water-related teaching and research. As shown in the Other Water-Related Publication section, our faculty members have explored water-related issues throughout the United States, Mexico, Panama, and Africa, and their research has led to publications in a reputable array of books, journals, and conference proceedings. The faculty-guided research conducted more locally through the WRI is also yielding pieces that are not only suitable for publication in academic outlets but that also may prove useful to local community discussions.
