Former Skidmore first lady Anne Palamountain joins Carolyn Depoian ’03 at the annual Palamountain Scholarship Benefit. A double-major in American studies and sociology, a member of the Periclean honor society, and a volleyball standout, Depoian is one of ninety-nine Skidmore students who’ve received scholarship aid from the Palamountain fund since it was established in 1986. Some 500 benefactors at the gala dinner in August enjoyed lively music by Skidmore’s student Cabaret Troupe and a very lively auction for goods, services, travel, and even a private lunch and tour of the statehouse in Albany with Joseph Bruno ’52, the majority leader of the state senate. —SR
