Live-in help
Peer advisors from the Howe-Rounds residence hall get ready for move-in day. Jason Menzel 06, Diane Ventura 06, Kyle Ford 05, and Katherine Haines-Stiles 06 joined about ninety upperclassmen in returning to campus early this fall to prepare for their roles as head residents, resident assistants, and house counselors. Trained to serve as advisors, facilitators, organizers, and educators, the res-hall staffers field a wide and unpredictable array of questions, from the permissability of fishtanks to roommate compatibility to lost-key replacements. The student leaders also convene hall meetings, explain policies, and serve as liaisons to the professional staff of the residential-life office. SR
